Delete your Sling Theory account

Sling Theory, by A Byte of Everything

Sling Theory only has an account if you used the optional cloud save (version 4.47 and later) and signed in with Google. That account is your sign-in with us (a user ID, your Google account's email address and name) and your cloud save (one copy of your game progress).

In the app

1. Open Sling Theory and go to Settings, then Cloud save.
2. Tap Delete cloud save & sign-in and confirm.

This deletes your cloud save and your sign-in account at once. If Google asks you to sign in again first, do so with the same Google account.

Without the app

Email appsbyabyteofeverything@gmail.com with the subject "Sling Theory account deletion", from the Google account you signed in with or naming its email address. We delete your sign-in account and your cloud save within one month and confirm by email.

What is deleted, and what stays

• Deleted: your sign-in account (the user ID, email address and name we received from Google) and your cloud save. Nothing of either is kept afterwards.
• Stays on your phone: the progress and settings saved there. Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app removes them.
• Stays with Google Play: the purchase of The Singularity, which belongs to your Google account, and our order records of it (see the privacy policy).
